Always remember, when somebody asks "what would you take for your xxxx", they are not asking what it is "worth". What we would take to get rid of most of our MB's is certainly more $ than it is 'worth'.
Likewise, I was looking at a horribly ugly little 240D a month or so ago, and they asked me what I'd give them for it. Well of course they were quick to point out how they thought it was worth a lot more than what I said.
I reminded them, "look, you asked me what I'd
give you for it". I was actually scared they'd say OK........
