I took the kick panel off and there was an oil slick on the back of the panel about 6 in tall and still wet. What is this? I suspect the oil for the instrument panel. I really don't mind the shoes, but those 300D mats were perfect

It could be the oil pressure gauge feed line. Im not sure why this would fail just when braking hard... but thats my guess.
