My uncle has a 1991 300TD that reverse is going out on . It has an automatic transmission. He took it to a local shop and was quoted $3,000 to have it fixed. He could probaly buy a whole parts car some where in the area of $500, and put the trasmission in his car. What are the chances of him finding a good one? His car only has 170K on it, seems a little early for it to die? Any other ideas? Thanks, Nick.
