you can do it with stripper, you will have to use a lot of it and do it several times to get down tot he wood, but this has been discussed before.

I have a can of some stuff I bought to play with and it worked well to strip it. I'll post up info when I get home and check the can.

I know I got it at home depot and it was in a can with orange ont he label.
