Another neat, but odd engine..Sun-Doxford

Folks,

The Sun-Doxford was a very British design.....was a slow speed opposed piston crosshead type engine......but only had one crankshaft.....in the bedplate.....the upper pistons, were connected to the crankshaft via external linkage.....really odd....only ever saw one, glad it wasn't on my ship!!
