carnut - I do not think your fully reading my posts. I am saying it appears to be from the FACTORY alarm, not aftermarket.

If you did not know this already, here you go - if the vacuum lines were completly broken, I still should be able to open the trunk with my master key. I can not do this.

The vacuum lines do work as well.

Still, there is something keeping me from unlocking the trunk. The trunk "button" pushes in and out freely, but will not pop the trunk. No matter what is done.

There is something else on the car that is keeping me from being able to push the button to pop the trunk. From other research I have done, this is usually because a FACTORY alarm is keeping the trunk button to resist and pop the trunk.

So im looking for a way to disable the factory alarm so I can gain access to the trunk.
