You guys are being awfully hard on Parts Counter people. I know some that don't know to get in out of the rain, but I also know some that know more about cars than you and I combined. Our problem is knowing which to listen to and which not to listen to. I always say, listen and you will learn. This thread got started with a parts person saying, "This oil looks thin to me, Maybe you need to add a thicker oil" or something to that effect. Maybe he has seen gas or fuel diluted oil before and knows that something is wrong. So just listen, and say "I'll look into it", and leave.

No I am not a parts counter person, but I know a lot of them.
