Yes, more or less.

I'm going from memory because I don't have the car in front of me and the FSM is limited on the DIY.

You'll need to remove the fan shroud and then the fan which is secured with 3 or 4 allen bolts. Should you choose to make life easier you can remove the radiator. This will make getting the fan on and off much easier. The downside of removing the radiator is tranny fluid loss and coolant loss. I'd probably do it since rubbing up and down the radiator is not so much fun.

Once that's done remove the bolt that is connected commonly to spring and shock pivot on top, then bolt holding shock to lower portion of tensioner.

Note that the shock is VERY slow to compress. To get the new one in it will have to be fully compressed (it took me a little fighting with the shock to figure out I was going to lose unless I was patient).

Put everything back together and check for any problems.

Do you have the FSM? Kinda critical for at least the diagram, less so for the 'how to'
