Just a quick follow-up. I didn't have time to work on my car this weekend, but I definitely had time to drive it. The symptoms haven't come back since the initial test drive... Is it possible that the part just needed a little while to adjust? Maybe that's a really dumb question, but could electronic things just kind of figure themselves out when you add a new component like this?

The car is driving as good as ever (except I need a rebuilt transmission)!
