Trust me, it really bothered me that a previous owner would've done that. But I have no other explanation for it. The doors were sagging quite noticeably... at the rear door jamb it was at least 3/8" too low. But the window sealed perfectly. I adjusted the doors so that they are as perfect as I can get them, and the doors won't shut with the windows rolled up all the way. So I have no other explanation other than a previous owner adjusting the windows to compensate...
