I don't think that's true, unless they changed policies it was more than that, more like 4 yrs. The first year it is 100%, after that I think it's 75%, etc, so a prorated warranty, but I think that's pretty standard. There is a special battery warranty sheet you should get when you buy an MB battery, the service truck guys probably don't get them, but the parts dept should have them.
