By all means so it yourself if you are at all handy. I recently did the driver side on my '95. The part is about thirty bucks. It's held in place with two bolts and a pin. Hardest part is gaining access to the door innards. Sorry I don't have the details in my head for that, but it's a few screws and a few tugs in the right place. You'll feel way better about doing it yourself, and saving a couple hundred bucks.
