the fan shroud on these is totally adjustable from car to car. make sure that the gap is even all the way aroun- aboput 1/2" on mine. the shroud is held in place with 2 clips on the top of the radiator. removal will allow free movement of fan- side to side and up-down. center it up and replace clips.
