If the alignment hasn't been checked, any explanation you've been given is just a guess. The only way to correct a pulling/drifting condition is to check the alignment, and proceed accordingly. The problem may be fixed by simply rotating the tires. MB warranty covers wheel alignment for 1 year/12,000 miles. You should remind your service advisor of this.
