I had pulled the sender out thru the first aid kit, in rear deck. Cleaned with mild solvent and replaced. Works great. I forget the socket you will need, I have the tank out for other problems and used a pair of channellocks.
I am waiting for the low light to illuminate, with 2 1/2 gal fuel in the trunk.
