You know the replaceable clips for the regular stainless steel wheel covers...they come in two versions...one all steel, the other with a nylon bushing...the nylon bushing clips were made specifically for the aluminum rims to prevent scratching the rims

I put a set on my 79 240D and I swear I could tell the differance. I have another set on a parts car thats going on my 85 one of these days
