... because if they offered the I-5 Tdi Touareg here, guys like you and I would buy them, and get respectable mileage.

But I'm not interested in getting gas-engine mileage in a V10 Touareg. The Japanese are doing better in SUV mileage than that. My Land Rover does nearly 20 hwy with a gas V8. Damn marketing people.
