I did not realize that MB would do the battery as part of the "lifetime roadside assistance" and only charge for the battery. I had my battery go kaput while out of town on New Years Eve. I found that only AutoZone had a battery listed, so I got it (24-DL IIRC) for $69 and had them help me change it since they offer that service for free. The battery was pretty much an exact fit - we'll see if it lasts. The original battery lasted 8 years (98 ML320 w/ 127K on the clock).
