well my understanding is there is only 2 layers:

Top layer = finish
Bottom layer = the wood itself

My car has the finish peeling off. I dont need to scrape it off, it just snaps off, like a plate of nachos haha

So what im going to do, if it works, is to just snap off all of the cracked finish pieces and then refinish the wood, unless there is some type of laminate sticker or something that is between the wood and the finish.
