I've got a busy family weekend coming up, so I plan to just head up to the track for the day. I'd like to propose a rendezvous for us South Bay types - Guido, me, FredHeld, helmutvonschet? How about at Mercedes Benz of South Bay at 6:00am on the 25th? My confidence of making it is currently 90% - but my son has a football bowl game in San Diego the day before.
-fad - Rancho Cucamonga is near Pomona. I checked out the route from Rancho Cucamonga to Rosamond on MapQuest, and it routes you via I-15 and CA-138 to CA-14. That's a much nicer trip for you than traveling back through LA to the South Bay to convoy there! We could meet at the track, or if my fellow South Bay'ers are game, we could leave the South Bay at 5:00 or so and head out to Rancho Cucamonga to travel up to Rosamond with you from there. Highway 138 would be a nice drive.
Whose idea was it to have a designated parking area for MBHotRods? Anyone on it?
Has anyone registered for the event, or are we just showing up?
Anyone planning to drive on the track? I had mine on the track at an HSR event last March - the fourth day I owned my car. That's where I met Guido. It was a blast!
