Thanks for the reply. I put the "new" cam in with the "new" rockers and while there replaced the valve guide seals (the reason for taking the valve cover off in the first place), front cam seal, upper timing cover lower seal, valve cover seal and just about every rubber air hose on the engine. Started right up! I've still got some suspension work to do and maybe next week I'll have the car off of the jack stands. I'm still a bit concerned about a rough idle right after start, but I'll be running that by the forum if it is still present after a few hundred miles (if my cylinders are as gunked up as my plugs were it's going to need some running to clean it out).
