Broken Climate Control - 1994 C280

The car is a 1994 C280 with 100K miles.

The last time I drove the car, 3 days ago, the fan for the climate control started to cycle from off to the highest fan setting repeatedly, even after I turned off the climate control system. This happened immediately after going through a touchless carwash.

Today I took the car out, and the fan would not come on at all. The climate control unit is getting power, and all the function buttons seem to work. I can adjust the temperature setting, select the window defrost, and change the vents with the vent selector. But no fan at all. I could feel warm air coming out of the side dashboard vents so I know I'm getting heat. The vaccum pump is also working because I can hear it open and close when I turn the climate control off and on.

I checked the fuses for both the climate control as well as the fan itself. They're fine. Any suggestions? Its bloody cold to not have a heater that works.

Thanks,

Jonathan
