I am a child psychologist. I have an evening practice and spend the days at the clinic and schools. I specialize in children from birth to about 13 years of age. As many of you know, I have volunteered my time and expertise to the children of the World Trade Centers. Currently, I am seeing about 40 children and 60 families.I travel to the city early Friday mornings and return home Sunday afternoon. I have compressed my five day a week practice into four days to make room for this in my schedule. I also serve on the county and state Crisis Intervention Team. I am a very dedicated individual to children but the recent events in this world certainly have taken their toll on me. I feel I have so much to do, to offer help, and so little time......but we will survive this too. The children are our future.....look into their eyes and you can see it.
