I too was concerned about reliability issues. But I did some research on VW's new efforts to improve this area.

I am hoping that the cars will be much better now. Plus this daughter is gentle on objects she still has her original, old iPod. Her sisters, on the other hand, have gone through at least 2 iPods. They are the reason why I buy service agreements on electronics.

So far the Rabbit has been good...I'm keeping my fingers crossed just in case.
