I am trying to get the timing case cover off of my 450SEL. Have the 6 oil pan bolts off the bottom, the 5 head bolts off the top and 12 horizontal bolts off. It's hard to budge. Have pried one side at the bottom loose about an eighth of an inch. Does the drive to the distibutor just slide out with the cover? Anything else I may have to consider? Looked for any threads on this and couldn't find anything. Any suggestions? Milt.
