So did I mess us on my conversion? When my mercedes manual speaks of 230 or 310 grams of cv spider joint oil they are talking about wieght, rather than volume?
The one cv boot that I believe had not leaked any oil, had enough oil to cover the spider when the axle was vertical and if I use that as an indicator one 4.0 once tube of cv boot grease didn't look to be enough. Once again the 4.0 oz is volume rather then weight. This must be the root of the confussion.
Does anyone know if the Sta-lube cv joint grease is ok to use?
