Not trying to knock your favorite...
But I never could stomach Boston, for one reason: The guitar tone.
I always thought they had great songs, great players, great arrangements, a great singer, great guitar leads...
But the actual guitar TONE, with Schotlz's signature "Rockman" pre-amps that he designed, is like fingernails on a chalkboard to me... So thin and abrasive. His sound was everything I DON'T like to hear in a rock and roll guitar sound.
But ya' know what they say about opinions and *********s....
