FANTASTIC idea, for private property at least.
Big pink ones on the driver's side of the windshield. This is exactly how the SFPD and Oakland PD in California tags cars that appear abandoned, and by law need to be moved in 72 hours, and not just a few inches either. Plus, with a chalk/crayon mark beginning on a tire and continuing onto the pavement, the odometer reading on them. It
ALWAYS works. It has to, in order to avoid making a desparate situation even worse. I believe they get about 100 abandoned cars a week off San Francisco streets this way.
