HVAC issues solved- mostly...

I finally figured out what was blowing the #8 fuse last week. After checking over the blower which had worn brushes but OK, found a burnt trace in the ACC unit which I repaired with a jumper, burnt trace caused by aux water pump- unplugged for now, and mono-valve still unplugged due to intermittent heat supply. I went thru about 10 fuses unplugging different components and finally arrived at the compressor relay, which I had ignored because the compressor was unplugged. So the relay actually turned out to be bad, causing a 25A fuse to blow. Frustrating, but all is good now because the heat works again
Now I just have to work thru the carnage and replace/repair what I found. The old adage stands true- there is nothing more expensive than a "cheap" Mercedes!
