Actually, as far as the pain analogy, I asked a woman I know who has a teenage son and once had a bout with kidney stones. She told me emphatically that her labor was less painful!!!
I really gotta do better with what I eat and drink...especially drink!
BTW, you should pass the stone within three days of the initial stabbing pain, at which time, the discomfort will be minor. But it will take about a week before the dull pain subsides.

Thanks for the advice. First one for me, but my sister has had them eight times!

Told the wife that the doctor said she had to do certain things to make me feel better but so far, I'm still suffering!
