Can I disconnect/remove the headlight wipers without interfering with some circuit. How did you do that?
If you install Euro headlights you need to disconnect the headlight wipers, they will not fit in with the Euro headlights (the mounting holes/brackets, at the bottom of the headlight assemblies are in different locations).

All you need to do is take out the pump for the h/l washers (see, there are two pumps located at the bottom/front of the washer fluid reservoir) and place a plug where the pump used to be. You can buy the plugs at your local MB dealer. I'd suggest buying 2 or 3 plugs. First, you may mess up the plug when you are installing it (for some reason they are tricky). Second, the plugs often fail, so it is nice to have a couple as spare. They are fairly cheap. BTW wait until the fluid in the reservoir has cooled before yo do this job. As you know, Benz in its infinite wisdom chose to heat the washer fluid. If you perform this operation while the fluid is still hot, you will get an uncomfortably warm sensation on your hand...

The headlight motors are attached to the bottom of the headlight units and they all (lights and h/l motors all come out as one single unit. Just be careful not to scratch the top of your bumper as you pull the headlights out.

You do not need to do anything with the wiring for the extra pump of for the h/l wipers. Just tape over the plugs to protect the contacts from dust and grime.

It is a fairly straightfoward job!

Let me know when you are ready!
