So... as far as converting my 85 to an 83ish setup, given my current setup, what do i need to do??? I believe the following:
-Obtain the base for the tach amp from my 83 300D. This will get me pin #3.
-Also acquire tach and other end of the tach cable (the end that plugs into the cluster) to have the correct harness.
-Connect wire from tach amp base to correct 2-pin harness for old style tachometer. This will provide a working tach signal, since my engine has the correct button on the harmonic balancer, so it ought to provide a good signal.
Thanks!
