I just recently purchased a '87 560SL for my daughter and I have a 2-post lift in my garage.
I'm trying to figure out exactly where should I place the lifting pads to lift from directly on the bottom of the car.
For the front, it appears I can put the pads in the narrow frame rail on each side just before the transmission.
But the rear I have no idea unless I place them directly on the lower A-Frame waffling???

Any ideas? Thx in advance.
