Headlight’s beam height adjuster

My two cents for Ross’s question!

It is in did “The headlight’s beam height adjuster” and that is what it does:

Taken from my 500E manual (and translated from Spanish to English):

The headlight’s beam height adjuster:

I. For vehicles without self-leveling:

·It uses position 0 when: Occupied driver’s seat or Occupied driver’s seat and front passenger’s seat.

·It uses position 1 when: Occupied driver’s seat and front passenger’s seat and back seats.

·It uses position 2 when: Occupied driver’s seat and maximum payload in the trunk.

·It uses position 3 when: Occupied driver’s seat and front passenger’s seat and back seats and maximum payload in the trunk. (Also when towing)

II. For vehicles with self-leveling: (are not used positions 2 and 3. Only the 0 and the 1)

It uses position 0 when:

·Occupied driver’s seat or Occupied driver’s seat and front passenger’s seat.
·Occupied driver’s seat and front passenger’s seat and back seats.
·Occupied driver’s seat and maximum payload in the trunk.
·Occupied driver’s seat and front passenger’s seat and back seats and maximum payload in the trunk and towing

It uses position 1 when:

·Occupied driver’s seat and maximum payload in the trunk or/and using a tow.

The headlight’s beam height adjuster!! to the right of the Headlamp Switch.
