I have 4 kids, 3 girls and a boy. I really enjoy my relationship with my daughters. I am a better man by virtue of having daughters.
But I am very, very glad that I also have a son.
We get to do all kinds of cool things, like working at the hangar restoring old planes. Two summers ago we took a road trip that included a side trip to the Grand Canyon. Stayed overnight at a hotel in Williams and took the steam train to the GC.
A few weeks ago we drove down to San Diego (stopped at the Irvine Benz Classics Center) to tour the USS Midway and check out the planes.
And this summer we are planning on going to Dayton Ohio to check out the Air Force Museum there.
I have done similar things wiht my daughters, but it is totally different when my son and I are together.
Enjoy his company now because they grow up really fast.
