Then we went fossil hunting. Found some old seashells. Finally we went and watched some good old fashioned dirt track racing. Now back at the hotel. What a day.
I love hanging out with my best friend.

3 boys, 1 girl here between 9 mos. and 9.5 yrs. My oldest (son) loves going to sporting events (we go to a lot of minor league baseball games, I bring him to a Patriots game or two, going to bring him to a Sox game this year) and we hit the local NASCAR short tracks a couple of times a month over the summer. He's very bright, very sensitive, highly competitive and very active (he's been tested for ADHD but doesn't fit any parameters.) We're still trying to figure out if he's testing us (and his teachers) or if there's some underlying stuff going on.
I'm thankful for my daughter (7.5 yo) and also thankful that I have 1.

She hasn't really expressed much interest in sports until recently but I might bring her to some races this year.
The youngest 2 are still too young to do much as far as attending events with dad, but as soon as they are old enough they'll be there too.
While it's been trying at times, most of the it's not and being a dad is tremendously rewarding. I look forward to the boys and I terrorizing all of the punks that come around looking for my daughter.
