That is if they are really cheap and made in Taiwan. I got some smoked turn signals for my 300D and they didn't even fit, at all. 30 bucks or so down the drain.

Well, I do see a difference between smokes on my MB (never, never ... I want it to look classic stock) and on my Jeep. My Jeep is two years old and is not a particularly flashy car (I love its design, simple) ... I don't think it would look like a rice rocket so much as kind of "stealth," i.e., a lot of gray, quiet colors, rather than the bright red and orange in the lights. I'm definately not into ricer chic at all, but I don't mind the look of colorless lights on a new car. It's not like I want to tack on a spoiler, spinners and neon blue door sill lights.
BUT, the quality does matter to me ... and seeing that so many people have had bad experiences with these lights, I'm obviously going to pass. If I could get high-quality lights without so much red in them, I'd go for it ... but not going to sacrifice quality for "coolness." That's all I was asking for.
