I would have loved to have a newer civic in high school, and in all honesty when i looked to "upgrade" from my SD they were also on my list. I basically have an upper end civic now with my integra. I will say that a civic with an automatic tranny is ungodly slow(wait!? coming from a guy who used to own an SD??? YES!), at least my SD had a reason to be slow. They are solid, reliable, relatively safe, cheap to insure, and good on gas, what more does a teenager need?? Doesn't suprise me one bit...
