Im putting in front rear subframe mounts. The type that connect the subframe to the floor in front of the rear tires, near the rear jack points.

I am sure i have the right part (ill double check), i ordered it from phil and it looks exactly the same as the old one.

I lubed it and pressed it in with the jack. I even made a tool out of wood to apply pressure around the mount. I jacked it up into the subframe, and it goes all the way in. I lift the car right off the jackstand - full weight of car is on the mount.

then when I let it down it pops out. Well, out maybe 3/4 of an inch and I can pop it out by hand. It just stikes me as not right.
