Check the fuse box (driver side on the firewall - two knobs holding the cover on)
There's a diagram on the back of the cover that would show where the fuse for the starter is, if it's in the fuse box (it may not be).
Mess around some with the solenoid, but it sounds like the starter died. After all that cranking you must've done, it is quite possible.
As for the diagnosis of why it stopped, I have hit the limits of my knowledge there. I think white is unburned fuel, which would point to IP timing and injectors.
