I am currently running it off a jerry can sitting on the fender, I have changed all the fuel lines from the jerry can forward as well as the fuel filter. All the injector lines have been checked and are pumping fuel out of each one. I am thinking that because I have had everything apart and cleaned or put back together with new parts that there is so much air in the system that it is going to take some time for it to get all the air out.
i am happy that it fired and ran for a couple of seconds on it's own, shows promise.
The problem I am having right now is the starter is not turning over. I have checked the fuse panel on the left side and there is no place where it says anything about the starter or starting system, plus all the fuses look ok.
Is there a fusable link somewhere that would protect the starter from too much cranking? I was cranking, and it just stopped. I know some cars have a fusable link, but what about this one? I have searched "fusable link" and just end up with results for the clock or alternator.
ideas?
