Who would have thought that, even 20 years ago.
Hardcore analog listeners wouldn't even consider a Compact Disc as suffecient media for music recording.
We would play "Direct Cut LP's" to the extend where the drivers 'pop' out of the speaker cabinets.
Record players like Micro Seiki, with a suction/pump mechanism, which would suck the LP onto the turntable which at the same time would be lifted pneumatically in order to turn. All of this was driven by an external motor via a specially fabricated string ...
