Have you tried a combination of super glue and silicone rubber to stop the leak? If I remember correctly that was what you used on a set of old oil cooler lines. I think it would be just as affective in this application.

Here's what you do if it's so cold your diesel fuel gels. Smear some on some toast and stay inside until it warms up outside.
