I would suggest when doing any a/c work to get the 134-a conversion. The freon is only about 1/10th the cost of the r-12 and if done correctly will cool just fine. Have the expansion valve changed if the conversion is being done.(all new expansion valves are made to r134-a specs) The ones on the 126 chasis love to leak, have it checked.
