Yes, there is a difference. You should be familiar with an open-end wrench, and usually on the other end of that wrench is the corresponding sixed box-end wrench. A line-wrench or Flare-Fitting Wrench looks exactly like a 6-sided box-end wrench, with one of the sides cut out. What you have is a 5-sided "box" style wrench.

The purpose of the wrench is to grip 5 of the 6 sides of hydraulic/pneumatic fittings. These are usually flare-style fittings and can be easily damaged with an open-end wrench (grips only 2 of the 6 sides of the flare nut). A box-end wrench is impossible to use since it cannot fit over the tubing.

Mike Murell is right, Sears has a good, reasonably priced set. That's where I got my set. Finally, I do not know what size you need; only wanted to help explain the different wrenches. Good luck… And I think we *ALL* have made the same “note to self” to ourselves at one point or another!
