I am trying to revive my A/C (not working since I owned it), bought a wiring diagram but have a question that the wiring diagram does not answer

Can someone please look at their working A/C compressor and see what color wires are going to it.

On my compressor wiring harness there were three wires going to it.

Blue/White
Brown/Blue
Brown

The only one connected was the brown. There was a two position terminal on the compressor with one screw in it and a wire running to the compressor clutch. I found that this was where the Blue/White should go.

the problem is the wiring diagram does not show a Brown/Blue going to the compressor, but there is not enough slack for it to go anywhere else. The blank terminal connector on the compressor has no wire leading from it, so it appears connecting it there seems fruitless.
