I use a foam type plumbing sewer pipe seal, froma hardware store as a cup holder. It fits in the center consol, of any Mercedes, and fits a cup perfectly. Another thing I used, when I was in the tractor trailer, and at first in the Benz, in the same spot, is a roll of Duct tape. A new roll, will even stick itself wherever you put it on the carpet, and is pretty much impervious to spilling, or toppling over. Works for me, and can be out of sight in seconds if you want it to be. In the truck, it would stick to the floor, in the car, it would stick to the carpet, or the carpet piece inside the cneter consol, without damaging, or leaving any residue..
