Yes, during this mess, remote key would lock and unlock doors. As a last resot, my husband disconnected and reconnected battery with "resetting" type thought in mind.....like magic, the car started.

So....any thoughts on what what made it go whacky; is it the age of the car - electrically do they tend to go batty????? It's been a great car up till this but after getting stuck once I am aprehensive about driving to far from home.
