My case might be the most extreme here. About 5 years ago I sold my $50,000+ '02 Corvette Z06 because I didn't like it as much as a $1000 '82 300D that I found locally. But I have gone in the other direction as well. For example, recently I sold my '83 240D which was my oldest vehicle. Age doesn't matter as much as what you like. The new stuff isn't always the best to say the least.
