Bought a new (about $40k) 2001 Volvo C70 HPT turbo coupe, to replace the old '91 Volvo 740.

It was a good thing the Volvo was't traded in

Never mind the awful torque steer in the new FWD Volvo.

It was such a lemon, in the dealer almost all the time for problems - that finally we simply stored the car, hired a Lemon Law Attorney and got the new car bought back (and purchase price refunded) by Volvo NA, and kept the old Volvo - put it back to work.

Finally the '91 Volvo was eventually replaced by an appliance car - new Honda Accord.


I still miss the old Volvo. The only good thing I really like about new cars is the "New Car Smell" and I am not interested in new cars very much.
